Blancpain is one of the very good brands of watches but its watches are not a part of discussions of the watch lovers; they are known for making or they have good reputation in manufacturing the luxury timepieces.
There is no doubt that the Blancpain is one of the most esteemed and old brand in manufacturing of luxury watches but still one may not find them in the market. The company was established in the year 1735 and used to manufacture about ten thousand watches every year. The watches made by the Blancpain comprised of one of the most complicated machinery in the world, which was made by about seven hundred and forty five components. But the one with such a complicated machinery used to bear a very high price tag and they used to manufacture hardly two watches in a year.
In the year 1988 the Blancpain become the very first brand in the world which offered six major things in its watches which brought revolution in the watch making industry: the calendar which used to show moon phase, the ultra-slim movement timepiece, the watch with split-seconds chronograph, the perpetual calendar, the minute repeater and the Tourbillon.
